In
new neighborhoods, drainage can be a big problem, especially if you're
downstream from your neighbors. At this residence, their backyard is a
main drainage channel for the neighborhood. Standing water was a common
problem they had to deal with, so we needed to develop a landscape that could
address that problem. A dry creek bed with elevated planting beds along
the way was a great solution for this problem. Though not pictured
below, a bridge will be put over the dry creek bed to the back gate, which is
being custom built by Sam here at Grassroots. Look for the pictures
